Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Matt Shipp

A few months ago I had a dream that Katie came to me and asked me to be there, as her photographer, on her big day. Of course I didn't think much about it, since Katie lives in Texas. So imagine my surprise when the next day she came into the restaurant and asked me that very question! Of course I said yes!

Saturday I kicked off my wedding season photographing Matt and Katie's wedding in Auburn, Alabama. The ceremony was at St. Micheal's Catholic Church, afterwards we headed over to Samford Hall at Auburn University for some bridal party portraits, and the reception was at the Marriott at Robert Trent Jones Golf trail. So much joy! So much genuine, heartfelt, love! Katie and Matt, yall are some kind of wonderful. Together yall make people feel completely at ease and ready to celebrate your love. You compliment each other, in a way that is so rare, it can only be explained as soulmates. Thank you for allowing me to document your first day as husband and wife. I had an amazing time and it was an honor you chose me to be there!
